Career Opportunities Hosts Spring Career Expo March 11

VALDOSTA — The Office of Career Opportunities at Valdosta State University will host its 2015 Spring Career Expo from 10 a.m. 到2点.m. on Wednesday, March 11, in the 学生会 Ballrooms.

Current students and alumni planning to attend should dress professionally, 提前到达, and bring several copies of their resume. The first 100 attendees will receive a prize, and all attendees will have an opportunity to win one of two grand prizes of $100 each.

“The Spring Career Expo is a great opportunity for students and alumni to establish or maintain relationships with employers,” said DeLois Hargett, employer relations coordinator with Career Opportunities. “We wish to do an exemplary job for both students and alumni and simply want to help both ignite their journey with Career Opportunities.”

More than 40 employers representing the health care, 保险, 零售, 政府, and wholesale business career fields and offering everything from full-time employment to internships are scheduled to attend. Target Corporation has already made plans to return to campus on Thursday, 3月12日, to conduct interviews with interested students and alumni. InSight Global Inc. will conduct on-campus interviews on Wednesday, March 18. Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes will do the same on Thursday, April 2.
